Treaty countries with regard to medical costs
A large number of treaty countries have sealed an agreement with the Netherlands with regard to the compensation of costs for medical care. You will come across these treaties when you are going to work abroad, study or live. Due to these treaties you can, depending on your own situation, ask for compensation for the costs of medical care, provided by the Netherlands.
The treaty countries can be divided into those countries that belong to the EU or EU rules apply, and the other countries that have different rules.
- EU countries and those who apply EU rules
- Other Countries
- Or live in countries that have no treaty with the Netherlands
