Living in a country without a treaty with the Netherlands

If you are going to live in a country without a treaty with the Netherlands, then you should always arrange your own health insurance in the country of residence. The same applies if you are working in that country and staying longer than three months. Any family members moving with you should also arrange their own health insurance.

Note:
When you are going to study or if you are send on secondment in a country without a treaty with the Netherlands, your Dutch health insurance still applies in most situations.
